A Firm Hand on the Ship of State
Just today's news:
Bush resists major course change in Iraq
Bush plans consultations over Iraq strategy
U.S. Rethinks Strategy to Cut Iraqi Violence
Bush to Consult on Changing Iraq Tactics
Nearly 6 years as Commander-in-Chief. Still doesn't know the difference between tactics and strategy.
This is the price we pay for electing an idiot (or rather, letting his slick fixers steal 2 elections from the American people).
UPDATE -- Friday night. This just in: Wait for it . . .
Bush: I won't change strategy in Iraq
Party on!
UPDATE -- Saturday. If you're interested, Larry Johnson provides a nice little tutorial on strategy vs. tactics in Iraq.

And I believe we must always honor our heroes, even (perhaps especially) when we hate the war.
Phil Carter discusses that kind of heroism. And Phil, welcome back. It's good to have you home again.
